Christmas GRWM | Blogmas 2017

Welcome to my 12 days of Blogmas series! Every other day until Christmas I will be posting something festive for you all to enjoy 🙂

Today I’m laying an old-school get ready with me on you all, as I had my annual family Christmas lunch a bit earlier than normal and so got to wear my Christmas outfit before Christmas day. This works well, because it might serve as inspiration for some of you!

Bake With Me | Blogmas 2017

Welcome to my 12 days of Blogmas series! Every other day until Christmas I will be posting something festive for you all to enjoy 🙂

Today we’re baking sugar cookies! I make these every year on my blog so it seemed only fitting to continue the trend.

Recipe:

1/4 + 1/8 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 & 1/4 cups flour (+ extra for rolling and kneading)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Beat the sugar and butter together until creamed, then add the egg and vanilla. Sift in dry ingredients and mix well. Cover mixture in cling wrap and refrigerate for an hour or overnight. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into shapes. Bake on lined tray for 6 min at 180 C or until light golden.

With the flash on these cookies look like they belong in the scene of a horror film lmao

A Cosy Christmas Night In | Blogmas 2017

Christmas Lunch Outfit • Blogmas

Welcome to my Blogmas! I love Christmas so much, and the best way to celebrate is with Christmas related posts every day at 5pm WordPress time until the 25th! Hope you enjoy!

I thought today I would share with you my perfect outfit for Christmas lunch as inspiration!

I chose this beautiful co-ord set from Boohoo, which was only something like $30 or $40. I love it so much; I think it is elegant and classic and really versatile. Here, I’ve paired it with a white lace bralette from Cotton On, as the top is a bit plunging. I’m wearing some nude suede heels from Rubi Shoes that I got a couple of years ago, and these gorgeous snowflake Christmas earrings from Lovisa. I think Christmas-themed earrings are the perfect way to add festivity to your outfit, without going overboard!

Considering we’re in summer in Australia, I think this dress is perfect for Christmas lunch, however it could really easily be worn in cooler weather with a fitted coat I think.

What are you wearing on Christmas Day? I’d love to know – I might change my mind yet!
